Hello Everyone,
I haven’t updated in a really long time so I gathered that it was about time I gave an update. I have been working on the show the Most Happy Fella by Frank Loesser, and we opened on Wednesday. So far, it’s been a blast. I think the best part about this show is that I get to do it every night. The music is beautiful, the set is stunning, and I find it such a treat to work with Jordan and Julie everyday.
In other news, this past weekend we signed the lease for an apartment in the Danforth village and we are super excited about moving in. Of course, that means packing up all the random things that have collected in my room over the past two years which I am not excited about. Other than that, I’ve been working with the Music Director for a show called Marathon of Hope, which is a folk musical about Terry Fox paralleled by the story of another young boy with osteosarcoma. It has some beautiful music and the underlying message of hope and strength is something that I feel will resonate with all Canadians. Currently we are working on recording some of the music and I’ll keep you updated as work progresses.
